Superchubby Cuteness :D

If you're like me, you're a huge fan of puffy little fluffy animals that look rather innocent and feeble, but are seriously hardcore in terms of weathering the cold. 

For instance:
Baby penguins and polar bear cubs(!!!).  Need we say more? 

I didn't think so.

That being said, let's check in on an arctic hare:
EEeee!!!  :D  Cutest snowball ever!! 

Hehe.  Seriously, could he get any rounder?!  (No.  No, he could not.)

This amazing photo was taken by Paul Nicklen for National Geographic, and here's a little fact sheet if you want to learn more about these gorgeous, hardy chameleon buns!  My favorite fact: "They... enjoy a low surface area to volume ratio that conserves body heat" ... Translation?  ROUNDNESS is the key to survival!!  :D   Love it.

*Gasp!!*  Tiniest of baby bunnies!! ...who even looks almost like a baby squirrel because her ears are soo insanely adorably small !!   Eee!!  :D 


What a sweetheart!  This awesome photo was apparently of a rescued baby wild bunny in Arizona, in the Whetstone Ranch area.  Check out the site for some other fun wildlife photos, and some adorable bunnies-in-burrows pics!  :D

What a Bunch of Little Punks!

Look at the miniature attitude!  Defiant body language, dyed ears... it's the cutest rebellion ever!! 

Also, did I mention their names are Rocky, Teton, and Smokey?  They should probably just go and form a band.  I'd totally buy their album.  :D


These cuties are pygmy rabbits, an endangered species, in a refuge in Washington... so I'm guessing the color is for identification, but whatever, they're totally owning it! :)  All I can say is, the world can't afford to lose these little bunnies!  We're pulling for ya, little punks ;)

Hedgehog Bunny?!

Oh my goodness!!  Look at this baby... she's so wooly and round!  She almost doesn't look real !  That's a winterized bun if I've ever seen one  :D

This teeeeeny baby bunny is unbearably cute.  SO TINY!!  And look at the paw!!!  And tiny baby ears!!  Gah!!  :P   (Guess I might as well go home from work now... this photo has rendered me useless!)

Love it.  This little sweetheart was an orphan rescued by AJ's Rabbit and Guinea Pig Rescue of the UK.  They have some absolutely beautiful bunnies up for adoption, check them out!  :)

Aww, wild baby buns are the cutest!!  They're soo pretty :)  and I'll never get over the teeny white forehead streak  :D  ...this baby bun was actually a random find from a free wallpaper site - if you want to have him hiding on your computer all day, you can download it here!

Awwwwww!!!

Oh.  My.  Goodness!!!!  At first, you look at this picture and you're all, "Oh, pretty wild rabbit..."  - and then - "EEEEEeeee!!!!  Wild Baby Bun!!!" 

InSANEly cute mom-baby kiss!!!  I looove baby bunny ears, hehe :D  so tiny!!  Almost like a mouse.  :P 

I cannot find the photo credit (info, anyone?) but this was an awesome find from a very informative page from the Hopper Home website, on what to do if you find a wild bunny nest.  Good to know! 

Lucky Day!

Imagine casually walking along, just strolling across the lawn, when - *gasp!*  A Lucky Bunny!  Much better than a penny or a four-leaf clover, these little bunlets change your fortune with just one stroke of the teeny tiny ears!  And you can pick it up gently and put it in your pocket, so it can ride around with its head poking out, and everyone will be sooo jealous!
