Lunchtime @ Camp Iwannabun

Campers take a break from macaroni art and digging tunnels to the girls' camp to chow down on some of chef Lettucemeister's salad concoction at the mess hall.

Eat up little buns.  There are lots of macaronis you still need to glue on stuff!

Are You All Ready For Your Guilt Trip?

"Oh, hi there.  We see that you are gathering your toiletries and calling a cab... we trust that you have made accomodations for two bunnies on your flight..??"



GAH!  Is it instinct?!  Why are animals sooo good at guilt tripping??!  :P

This adorable pair of buns, Josie and Nibbles, are available for adoption with the Los Angeles Area Rabbits rescue of CA!  You can read more about these two here... and ooo, they even have their own photo CD, apparently!  Must be very photogenic ;)

Democracy At Its Best

And so, with a vote of 3 to 1, it was decided that the movie of the night would be 'Harvey.'  The lone dissenter put his paw in for 'Lady and the Tramp' yet again, only to have it voted down for the fifth night in a row.



:)  This lovely trio of buns - Chrissy, Joyce, and Jack - are adoptables with the Sweetpea Foundation Rabbit Rescue of California!  You can read more about these cuties here... apparently they like to act like their foster family's dog and cat and jump right up on the couch to watch movies!  Well, why not?  Looks pretty comfy to me!  ;)  Good luck, buns!!  Hope you find the perfect movie buff human soon!  :)

...Okay, I'm totally circulating rumors here... these bunnies aren't paired together (yet?! heh), but I'm pretty sure that dog's sharing secrets...


***URGENT BUN ALERT!!***  These two supercuties, Denver and Shangri-la, are both adoptables from Los Angeles, CA, and RabbitMatch is trying very, very hard to find each of these two a temporary or permanent home!  They are VABs (Very Adoptable Bunnies), with great temperaments and hoppy souls, and they are 'ready to go'!!  There is also one more in this little home-ready bunch, Quicksilver, who you can see on the RabbitMatch website.

Story is: they are currently at a city shelter, and the number of buns is too high... making it VERY worrisome for the harder-to-adopt buns' safety... if you know anyone in the LA area (or anywhere!  Our Boston bun came from LA ;)  ) who can temporarily or permanently shelter these cuties to help make room for all the bunnies who need it, please go to RabbitMatch.org for more info! 

Cover Buns

Snowy (the gray/white bun): "Bugs!  We have to get ready for our big cover shoot today!"

Bugs (the orange bun): "Don't worry, we're pros!"



Snowy: "Um, I think one of us needs to get a haircut first..."

Bugs: "What?!  But this is my signature style!"

Snowy: "Um... yeah, and it's been your signature style for the last seven years..."

Bugs: "Hmph, whatever!  Bruno will make us look fabulous, don't worry!"

Hee, very cute ;)  Thanks, Francine, for the great new pics of Bugs and Snowy!  They must be #1 in that "Cute Couples" article :)  So adorable!!  (And I'm still so totally in love with Bugs' fluff!!)  :D

Dangerous Stuff!!

"Oh, hi there.  My buddy Snowflake and I just wanted to let you know that we're about to start doing crazy little baby-bunny hops around the rug, soo... if you can't handle the cuteness, you might want to leave the room while you still can."


GAH!!  SO. CUTE. !!!  Look at those faces!!

These babies are two of a quartet of baby buns (actually named Peeps, Rascal, Cheddar, and Bongo) currently staying with the Friends of Rabbits and House Rabbit Sanctuary in the DC/Maryland area!  You can read more about them here... and more about this insanely cute baby bunch on their Petfinder page here! 

Lol, you have to check out the Petfinder page for the other photos - I LOVE the one with all the buns chowing down on a pile of greens... especially the bunny on the right with the leaf in his mouth, lol!  He looks extremely pleased with the situation!  :D

While the rest of the bunnies go exploring during the day, one bun always stays behind to guard the fort's entrance...


All suspicious visitors are verrrry carefully inspected!

Annoying baby brother bunny: *nom-nom-nom-nom-nom...*

Older sister bun: "Dude. That's my ear, not a snack!  What do you think I am, a head of lettuce?!" 

Baby brother bun: "Well... you just looked so round there... I got confused.  ...*nom-nom!*"

:P  Shakes and Marcy are two adorable lops up for adoption with The Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland, Maine!  This boy and girl were previously bought from a pet shop and spent the last two years with very little attention from their owner :(  ...but now they're being taken care of by bunny people :)  and are looking for a new furever home!  You can read more about these two here -- Good luck, buns!  :)
