Well, there's the way to spend your weekend :)  This gorgeous white bun is Pinky Bunny, who according to her person is 'basking in the glory of extra Easter head pets' - hee!!  So cute!  :D  Thanks, Christine, for the adorable photos!  Lucky Pinky.  :D

p.s. Is that a custom-woven cardboard mat right there in the first pic??!  Because that would be the most pampered bun ever then!  :P 

Bunny Builds Character...

"Oh, great.  Cable's out... now what do I do??"

"...could read, I guess... Meh." [nibbles page in boredom]

"...Could catch up on the news, I guess... hmm...nah..."

"Ugh, I think I need a beer!"

"...and then, I'm going to have a serious talk with the roommates about fixing this!!  If I miss one more episode of 'The Bun and the Restless'... well!  Don't expect the living room rug to look so un-shredded tomorrow, is all I have to say...!"

Poor Pepper... silly humans, can't trust them with anything!!  :P  ...Well, you could still dance!

Most Industrious Bunny Evah!!

LOL - this is so great!  Check out "Howard's Big Dig," a small masterpiece of a vid with amazing musical choice and unbelievable bunny burrowing skillz!!  The hole is ridiculous!!  :P  Also, I love the random shot with the dog who's all non-chalant on the sidelines, but secretly probably like, 'Wow.  Even I can't dig that well!"  Howard is supercute when pushing the dirt around, hehe.  I love his huuuuge bunny eyes, and his fur - most velvety dark bunny fur ever!!   :D

How do I pet them all?

Eeee, not exactly sure what's going on here but it's adorable.  Love it when approx. 7 seconds into the video a big bunny (relatively speaking) hops through the cacophony of tiny bunnies.  But just seeing all the tiny ones bounce around make this video.  Had to give it a few watches : )

"Gah !!"

Little Henry:  "Ohmygosh Mom!  Mom!!  Look, I woke up and my ears are gone!!  I look like a groundhog!!"

Mom bun: [Tries not to smile and pats son on the head with her paw]  "No, no, my dear, they're still there... you just slept on them funny.  See?  They're popping back up again, don't worry."

Henry:  "Oh... oh yeah, I see one!  Okay, whew!"

...Yeah, you gotta be careful the way you sleep on your ears!  :P

The New Mr. Universe!

"Hey, hold the camera for a sec -- where's my agent?  Barry!!  Get over here!"

"What is this?!  I thought we were aiming for advancing my career here??  ...'The Amateur Astronomer,' Barry?  'Amateur'?!! I read that when I still had my baby fluff!  Please tell the photographer to remove that at once or I will shred it!  ...Oh wait, come to think of it, that's actually a really good idea... ask her if she'll save it for after the shoot, I would still like to nibble it, thanks Barry - you're the best!!"

This is Arcturus, a very handsome boy bun with an awesome name!  **Your trivia for the day: Arcturus is the third-brightest star in the sky - the name means, 'Bear Guard,' and supposedly Zeus put Arcturus in the sky to protect the Big and Little Dippers (the bear constellations).**  :)   Arcturus (the bun) was lucky enough to escape a former neglectful home, and is now happily recovering (yay!) with the people of RabbitMatch.org in California, and he's adoptable!  If you have bears in need of protection, you can read more about him and his story here, on his Petfinder page.  ;)

This baby bun is a "Coming Soon!"  attraction at the Missouri House Rabbit Society in St. Louis (soon to be adoptable)!   Awww, check out his family's Petfinder page, with pics of the baby's mom and siblings.  :)  I love the photo of three of the babies when they're a little older - quite a bunny gang - love the ears!!  :D

...Okay, it's not a "real" bun, but this is one of our family's annual Easter traditions - the bunny cake!  :)  My grandmother used to make it, and now we've taken on the responsibility... we think it's pretty cute, so we thought we'd share.  :D  ...Thanks, Mom, for the photos!  ;)   

Tweaking Tradition

"What are the neighbor's kids doing out there in the yard?  Did they lose something?  ...An egg hunt?  Huh, interesting..."
